Sorting the Triumph 650 front axle's parts can be confusing. The photo illustration below will help you get the right parts in the correct order.

The following photo illustration shows all of the Triumph 650 front axle parts in their correct order of installation. Included are descriptions, part numbers, and specifications for all bearings, dust covers, grease retainers, support ring and retaining ring.
Note: Drive Side parts shown to left and Timing Side parts shown to right.
The front wheel bearing circlip (shown DS above, left) is PN 57-0280, which happens to be the same part used for the gearbox mainshaft bearing.
To help situate the axle parts, here is the illustration of the front wheel and axle from the Workshop Manual. The red labels correspond to those in the photo illustration above.
