When they reach Perkin's Landing just before Owl's Head, most riders turn right onto Chemin du Vale Perkins, which takes them to Mansonville.
A more scenic (gravel road) route to Mansonville is straight ahead on Chemin Owl's Head, which offers fantastic views of Vermont's mountain ranges to the west and southwest.
Chemin Owl's Head eventually Tees to Chemin Leadville. Turning right on Chemin Leadville eventually brings you to a Tee with Chemin Bellevue, where another right turn brings you into Mansonville.
That route is very scenic, but there's another variation that adds even more terrific scenery: from Chemin Leadville hang a left onto Chemin de Province Hill. After exposing you to fabulous countryside views, Province Hill intersects Chemin Bellevue just south of Chemin Leadville and a right turn takes you to Mansonville.
When I take this route I'm usually headed for the international border at North Troy on my way around Lake Memphremagog, so from Bellevue I take a left on Chemin de l'Aeroport which brings me to Route de Mansonville (Route 243). At 243 I hang a left and I'm on my way to the border, just a couple of kilometers away.
Chemin de l'Aeroport takes its name from a defunct air strip which although grown over in weeds can still be readily seen to the left, or south, of the roadway.
