Travels with Bonnie: A Ride in the Neighborhood

26 Oct 2003

Bonnie's in her totally original state in these photos, which were taken on a short ride between my place and the international border in Quebec's Eastern Townships. Gravel roads are the best!

The Boynton Cemetery

Back road country cemeteries are perfect for finding a little quiet rest while out on a ride. Just ask me, I've stopped at a few.

The Graveyard Shift is a photo essay on country cemeteries I've visited, mostly in Quebec's Eastern Townships and the Vermont's Northeast Kindom. Many of these cemeteries are within five miles of my place, and nearly all are within forty or fifty.

Wildlife Preserve Pond next to the Tomofobia River

I go in low and slow, putt-putt, real quiet so as to not disturb the herons, geese, ducks, and others around the pond.
