Gram's Zucchini Relish



  1. Put vegetables through coarse food chopper.

  2. In a glass dish, cover chopped vegetables with salted ice water for one hour.

  3. Drain and rinse well with cold water.

  4. In stainless steel or enamel pot, boil sugar, vinegar, turmeric, celery seed, and water for 3 minutes.

  5. Add vegetables and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  6. Seal in sterilized jars.
