Forest trees here are covered with snow - spruce branches hanging down lightly under an inch or two of wet, heavy snow. I can hear it creeping on the tin roof - soon there will be a great whoosh! and my winter fun of clearing off the deck will begin!

God, please just don't let them use salt on the roads!
